coaching for writers

Writing can feel like a solitary and lonely process, but it doesn’t have to be. From individual guidance and workshopping to group-based inspiration and habit-building, my approach to writer development is tailored to your specific needs and goals.

Coaching is based on a membership model and gives you access to a number of resources designed to make writing a habit, learning to set goals and meet them, and to find a voice that is authentically yours.

individual

Available in 3, 6, and 12 month increments, an individual membership provides you with weekly goals tailored to your needs (word count, hours writing, or others) and 2 hours of 1-on-1 coaching per month.

group

Designed for the needs of an existing writing group, this membership is designed for academic writers and based around weekly and/or monthly goals, a monthly group meeting on topics ranging from peer review to marketing questionnaires, and one-hour per month individual sessions for each member.

community

Conceptualized with diverse needs in mind, the Targeted Group membership is designed around specific interests. These may be genre-specific, focused on a geographical area or time period, or even topical. Groups last for 12 weeks and focus on habit building, productivity, and quality through peer feedback. Groups receive a weekly prompt, 1-hour group meeting with me, and a dedicated Discord server to elicit and share feedback, ask questions, and create strategies to overcome challenges.
